Reportedly, UPN has ordered WWE to drop the
Muhammad Hassan plot completely from Smackdown! They will, apparently,
no longer air footage of Hassan on the show.

s a result, WWE is said to have agreed to pull Hassan off the air until the Great American Bash pay per view, aired on Sunday July 24, 2005. It had been thought a plan to move Hassan and his sidekick, Daivari (who participaed in the act) back to Monday night's Raw, however, reports indicate the character would be dropped after the pay per view episode.
Additional reports, however, reveal Hassan will, indeed, will be leaving Smackdown, but returning to Ohio Valley Wrestling. That, basically, sends him back to the so-called "minor leagues" of WWE, until the writers develop a new identity..
